Hanover Pediatric Dentistry provides a “dental home” for your child, a place where oral health care is delivered in a comprehensive, accessible, and family-centered way. This relationship gives your child the best chance for optimal oral health. Our approach to dentistry focuses on prevention and education. We also focus on educating ourselves on the most current dental techniques and offer modern solutions when dental treatment is beneficial. With specialized pediatric dental training, we are a dental office designed just for kids — serving infants, children, and teens, as well as children with special dental health needs.
Pediatric dentists have 2-3 years of additional, specialized training to care for young children and adolescents. From the first tooth to adolescence, we help your child develop a healthy smile and manage situations that are unique only to children.
Our office is designed to ease nervous children (and their parents!) with a kid-friendly atmosphere. We take extra time to understand the personality of each child and our team works hard to accommodate every personality – from super chatty to super shy. Hanover Pediatric Dentistry is also able to help with child-specific issues such as thumb sucking, pacifier use, and feeding concerns. We’re kid experts! Learn more about what makes us unique.
Dr. Tara Groff is a Massachusetts native, born and raised in Dedham. Life has taken her to several places, including Baltimore, MD, where she earned her undergraduate degree, Tufts University in Boston, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine, and a stop in the United States Air Force, where she served as a general dentist and earned the rank of Captain.
Dr. Groff’s love of children’s dentistry is what led her to Ann Arbor, MI. There she completed her Master of Science in Pediatric Dentistry.
Now she has made her way back to her home state and has established Hanover Pediatric Dentistry. Here she can’t wait to meet your family and help use her vast knowledge in pediatric dentistry to help your child have the healthy smile they deserve!
